I am a 26-year-old Roman Catholic seminarian for the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey. I am named after my grandfathers, John and Peter. The hyphen indicates that both names constitute my first name. The reason for the alternate spelling of John is unclear. Thomas is a distinguished English surname.
